Agghhh, this week was challenging. I came down with flu at the weekend. I assumed it was just a bad cold and did not alter my plans last Saturday but then after returning from a nice Fashion exhibition at Somerset House I started shaking like a leaf and the fever started kicking in….Sunday was spent in bed and I was on paracetamol non stop to cope with the first half of my week. Anyway I am thankfully on the mend now!
One of the things that excite me most by living in such a cool and vibrant city as London is the amount of cultural opportunities around. As a keen photographer I am always on the look for inspiration from all sorts of arts Continue reading
Hello all, with half term and the 3 little ones at home with me, I had a very full on week. We had good fun and I tried to make it as enjoyable as possible for the little ones but it just meant little time in my hands and a very tired mummy (me!) at the end of this week….phhew!
This morning I finally met with my blogger pal Josephine from Chic at Any Age to shoot a few pics for the blog. It is nice to meet with someone who knows how to take good photos and is patient with my awkward posing;)!! I have got tons to learn before I can look a bit more natural on that side of the lens but Josephine did not bat an eyelid.
Hello all, I was meant to write an epic post when things did not happen quite as planned this week. It all started as usual with lots of playgroup activities, school pick up and drop off, cooking and other chores and my college day which is always a joy. And then on Thursday I went to do a photoshoot for a friend of mine’s new products and all of sudden everything went pear shaped.
Does anyone else feel like January has been dragging on forever – the post Christmas months are a bit tough: it’s cold, it’s muddy, the days are short…..We have had a few freezing weeks since Christmas – even though this week the weather is turning mild again but I am pretty sure it will get cold again. I am not very good at dealing with the cold Continue reading
It’s fair to say being a stay at home mum to our 3 little ones for the last 2 years has been totally amazing and… challenging at the same time! You are there everyday for your little ones witnessing first hand their every day joys, disappointments, excitements and frustrations, you get to know them so well and the trust they give you back is the sweetest thing in the world. However, there is also another side to all this wonderful stay at home life Continue reading
I have not shared a few of my latest musical finds and crushes for a long time. I know that typically my musical discoveries posts are not always the most popular ones on the blog but music is something I don’t think I could live without (I know this sounds pretty dramatic but…it is!).
Sometimes you need a few nice names to refresh and update those playlists of yours and this is where I come:)
Here are my new favourites in this beginning of the new year: 2 French singers who happen to sing in English and 3 British artists, yeah! Continue reading
🇬🇧 In those winter months, soups are back on the menu. In our household we have made it a tradition to have a soup every Sunday evening. We try to have our meals with the kids at the weekend and I find a good soup on a Sunday evening is a great way to balance things out if we indulged a bit otherwise. Our kids get probably 2 soup diners a week which – I am not going to lie – is not always welcomed with a smile but when they have fish & chips at school or pizza, I feel it’s my duty to bring the vegetables back on their plates. Our toddler is a soup lover which is so great, may this long last!
I have tried lots of soup recipes (and will continue trying new ones on a regular basis) and today I thought I would share with you my 5 favourite ones. I could have probably made this list even longer as I am a big big fan of soups but I didn’t want to overwhelm anyone;)
🇫🇷 En ces mois d’hiver, il est temps de remettre les soupes au menu! Continue reading
I initially wrote this blog post for a fellow blogger’s blog but I thought time had come for me to post on my own blog the updated version.
I love exploring, it probably comes from my own parents who were great at exposing us to a variety of places and taking us on various trips in France and abroad. Since moving to England more than 10 years ago I have done my fair share of exploring. Now, as a mum of 3 I am delighted to share with you my favourite family friends spots in London.
Wether you are a mum/dad, an auntie/uncle or a grandparent, I can guaranty you will find a nice place to visit in this list. They have all been tested and approved by myself and I’m picky;)
🇬🇧 How would you feel to wake up on New Year’s day in a scene of Winter wonderland? This is where I want to take you today…even though I captured those photos a few days ago, I thought this would be a lovely dreamy place to start 2017 with you.
Hello 2017,may this new year be a fabulous one!
Now, let’s go for a walk together in frosty Richmond Park (London, UK)….
This is going to be my last post of the year and very much a seasonal one! It’s all photography based as I am really enjoying my photography course and finally getting to grip with new techniques.
I am so delighted to share with you those snaps I took on Tuesday night. Whether you visited/lived in London or maybe haven’t come yet to visit to this vibrant city, I am hoping this will put stars in you eyes:)
